And now, the end is near ......

All good ( GREAT ) things must end and once again after nine months of counting the days.... it's time to head north and get back into the grind. Our time here in central Florida was the best this year. It started out cold.. and Imean COLD....but for the past month, it's been fabulous. Everyday has been in the 70-80's and nights in the 60's. I hate to leave. We had a few health issues, with Tony in the hospital for a week with a bad blood clot and with Sedona with 2 bad ear infections and subsequent "hot spots"...but in the end, we ALL have ended up pretty healthy.

My cooking ventures were all great with a little twist this year, Karen and Tony BOTH joined Weight Watchers and I cooked many low-fat, low calorie meals. We switched out a lot of products like skim milk fat free 1/2 & 1/2, Truvia instead of sugar, reduced calorie bread, I can't believe its not butter and Fat Free Mayonaisse. All told, Tony has netted a 18lb loss and Karen 9lbs. I of course, not dieting and cheating like hell have managed to gain a whopping 21lbs HA HA. Not worried though cuz once I get back to work the weight will melt off and quickly.

Well final house preparations are in place, the car got an oil change, airline tix are all set fot K & T and all thats left is the final house cleaning on Wednesday. Karen is treating us to a nice Japanese dinner Wed night at Takara Steak House in Ormond Beach with all the money she won at the Tampa casino !!!! The "Last" supper.
